I moved it here. No security problems. Just no other way to keep it save untill someone with admin right will bann this user.

I think banning is not really useful... at least these guys change always their names and IP address.

The worrying thing is that they can post even as guests!

I'm aware, but apart from deleting the post I delete the user and ban the e-mail they've used - or at least the @xxxx.xx part of it...

I don't believe they can post as guests...
The user status becomes "Guest", when they're deleted from the admin-panel...

I.e. the post which was made by "Dennisg" and moved to here by Notareal had a different status until I deleted his user profile... ;)

doesn't deleting the user profile mess up the ban?
it depends on the function used to ban...
