2 links in download section broken

Post by Fletch »

I am getting an Error 404, not found on the HDR Probe Globals Package found on the Kerky site.
http://www.kerkythea.net/joomla/index.p ... down&id=62

Edit:
Same thing with 7 spherical skies and grassy ground
http://www.kerkythea.net/joomla/index.p ... down&id=85

The others are downloading fine.

It's because the kerkythea.org domain has been suspended... :(
Some of the libraries were hosted on this domain...

I've sent a message to Giannis, since I can't access the Joomla Administration board and correct these broken links... :(
Cheers

Yeah... I just saw it... :(
Unfortunately I don't have that library on my computer and thereby I can't upload it to the kerkythea.net server... :(

If anybody has it, can you please make it available for me somehow and I will upload it... ;)
Cheers

OK, I'm uploading the Sphericals file now, it's like 306Mb :|
should we even host this thing at all? What do you think guys?
How much space to we have on the .net server now anyway?
I remember Kim encouraging me to clean out everything because it was running out of room... has something changed?

We have plenty of space... :D
I believe we have around 25GB, but it's only Giannis who can tell it exactly and also how much we've used by now... ;)

The reason why I asked to clean up back then was because we only had 10GB available, but that has been expanded... :)

Looks like that the Getting Started pdf tutorial has a link pointing to a server, that does not exist any more.

Yes - I've seen it... :|
However, I don't believe I have these libraries... :(

If anybody have them, please upload them to www.kerkythea.net/download
And please post here to inform that it's done...
Cheers

well, clearly I did NOT read your instructions, sorry Kim!
I put them in Fletch/MaterialsForum.

is there an easy way to move them from one folder on the ftp to the Download folder?

is it as simple as copy/paste?

I have updated the links to point to the materialsforum folder for now.

sorry.

to clarify - I only have 13KB/s UPLOAD speed on my "hi-speed" wireless... so these huge files take an hour or more to upload... so if I can just copy/paste from one folder to another on the ftp server itself it would be much easier.

I will try to put these things in the d/l folder in the future.

I don't know which FTP app you're using, but it's usually really simple to move files from one folder to another...

As simple as drag and drop... :D
