hey fred,

im pretty confident that i have already compiled the libraries for the woods but i will have to check, i think the only thing left is to render the preview scenes. i could do with a hand on this though, if i have to render all the woods on my machine we might still be waiting come the next release

Kind regards

So that leaves the "brick 20" and "pavement 01" to me... :D

One question... I seem to have an issue when importing the Lis material libraries to KT... :(
Have anyone else experienced this..?? :?

Haven't been able to find which of the materials generating the problem, but I suspect the Lis Wooden library...

The files in the floors library are very big so... maybe it's just a memory thing. Some of the images are 15 MB. I can separate it into two libraries, or reduce the images further.

I've uploaded the Arroway Tiles Library here: Tile

It's about 104 MB and contains 6 materials.

EDIT: I just downloaded and did a fresh reinstall of the Lis Floors. It actually crashed KT the first time, but worked the second time. It feels like a memory thing to me. I'm creating three new libraries to replace it. A low res version with all 4 materials, and two separate libraries with 2 full res materials. If that's not a good idea, let me know. ;)

sorry I am unable to help with this now guys... but am glad Chris is able to do something.

where is everybody?!

I will immediately go reduce the immense size of those textures down to something manageable. Am I the only one that thinks textures of that resolution under normal architectural usage is ridiculous? I'm never close enough at a high enough resolution to tell the difference between a 4000 or a 2000px texture.

The only thing I've found I need at super-res is a global (min. res good for hi-res KT renders for skies IMHO is 8000x4000) KT handles that res. for skies just fine.

Thanks for your reply, Chris!
Yep - it's the Lis Floor generating the issue...

I suggest that you just keep with the low res. of all 4 materials...
Like Fletch said, you can't see the difference really... ;)

Hey Fletch, have you already resized the textures? If not, I have it done also, so I can upload the material zip for it. But if you've got it done, feel free to put it on the server.

BTW, all you guys doing the Arroway materials. Did you find you had to invert the bump map? It seemed like all the tiles needed their bump maps inverted and I wasn't sure if that was consistent elsewhere.

I really like those Arroway textures. No wonder they are the "Big Name" in architectural textures.

Here are the Lis LowRes Floors. I left the full res ones on the server. I'll leave it to Frederik to decide if that one should be available.
